Description of Type Design Change: Installation of NASCO rotor part number 717001-()
in Bendix Brake Assemblies in accordance with NASCO Configuration Control Document
NCC002, revision "B", dated October 27, 1993, or later FAA approved
revision.
Limitations and Conditions:
The system should not be incorporated in
any aircraft unless it is determined that the interrelationship between this installation
and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect
upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. The approval of this change in type design
applies only to Boeing model 747 airplanes which are listed in NASCO Drawing 747001,
revision "D", dated September 23, 1993, or later FAA approved revision.
The FAA approved maximum wear limits are also listed in NASCO Drawing 747001,
revision "D", dated September 23, 1993, or later FAA approved.
This certification and the supporting data
which is the basis for approval shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended,
revoked, or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of
the Federal Aviation Administration.
